The Bespoke Components division of Hayley Group has now moved to a new premises and is expanding its team and enhancing its capabilities, following a continued period of growth. Since 18th July 2022, the Bespoke Components team has been based at the newly-acquired Hayley Group facility on the Direct 2 Industrial Estate in Oldbury, West Midlands, along with a selection of other national teams including the company’s rail industry-focused division, Hayley Rail.

Now in its fifth year as a recognised division of the Group, Hayley Bespoke Components acts as a single-source supplier for custom products and offers turning, milling, laser cutting, machining and more, using a wide range of raw materials, with orders available in small, medium and large volumes. As part of the quality measures put in place, Hayley Bespoke Components are able to supply supporting documentation, including ISIR, PPAP and IMDS, giving full reassurance to customers.

The move from the Hayley Group headquarters in Halesowen will enable the team to expand in terms of personnel and to complement their core capabilities with access to purpose-built facilities, such as a dedicated quality management room.
A new addition to the team is experienced Quality Manager, Carl Fielding, recruited to oversee the quality assurance processes that the team undertake to ensure that customers receive products of a high standard every time. Carl has spent over 30 years in engineering and manufacturing environments, the last 20 years being specifically in quality management. During his career, he has held roles involving both supplier quality assurance and turned parts manufacturing, which will bring valuable experience to his new position.

Further investing in their quality management credentials, the division now has a dedicated room where QA testing will take place prior to orders being shipped. This added capability is set to immediately benefit customers as Hayley Bespoke Components are now able to thoroughly check all outbound products in a specially-designed area, prior to dispatch.

Tim Ryan, Hayley Bespoke Components Manager said, “We’re thrilled that we have been able to reinvest in our team, and the move to larger premises has enabled this. By bringing the quality management capabilities in-house, we have taken full responsibility for the quality of all products leaving our facility. Customers can now be assured that their products have been subjected to stringent checks, and are therefore up to the high standards that we want to be associated with.”
